Has anyone photographed the decals for a Motobecane Grand Record thay I could purchase? I'm about to bite off a full frame restoration on mine, and the decals will be the tough part - barring spending more than I had planned by going to Cyclart.

Thanks,

Stuart,

I have interest in your procedure. I use Photoshop for some business related items but have not tried your technique of camrera parallel to the tube.

Where do I send the file (decal maker??).

Thanks,

I have been successful in copying decals and found a competent printer for reproduction. Using a digital camera and perspective correction software, stitching software and Photoshop you can do the same. The trick to start is keeping the camera parallel to tubes as you rotate around them. Each image is then corrected for plumb and then stitched, sized and detailed.
I then send the file to the decal maker. Only wish I had more original cycles to copy. Stuart Garfield Lynn, Mass
