I tried to use the hanger bolt for my NR rear derailleur that came off the Campagnolo donor bicycle, a Vitus, but the threaded part was too big to fit in the dropout of my Montelatici. I stole one off of another Italian bike in my house, which fit fine.
I didn't realize those came in different sizes.
Since I'm going to have to replace that derailleur hanger bolt on the other bike, what size do I need to specify when ordering?
Also, my SL pedals, which are NOS, don't seem eager to thread into the crankarm. I'm not excited about forcing anything, but I took some first generation LOOK pedals out of those same crankarms, so its not like they never had any pedals threaded. The SL pedals say they are the same threads, so its not like they are *french* or anything. What do you all think?
