I'd love to have a copy of those instructions. Being a long-time fan and hoarder of Benotto tape, I've experimented with lots of variations. Some of my favorites include double-wrapping with two (or more) colors (for a contrasting-stripe effect - works especially good with two shades of one color such as the various blues that were available), and using "shape" punches (crescent moons and stars are cool) in one color with a contrasting color underneath. Benotto also had some colors with a transparent stripe in the center, which made for some interesting color combo possibilities. Haven't tried to obtain a diamond pattern, but would like to give it a shot. Probably will whether I have the instructions or not, but would like the sheet nonetheless.

Somewhere in my stuff I have a sheet with step-by-step instructions on how to wrap bars with Benotto tape (need two colors -- three rolls total) to get a really nice looking diamond pattern. Used to do all my bikes that way back in the 80's.
