Mark, My two cents...probably worth less than that...I'd build up the wood rims on the original hubs. The bike would look awesome for display. But I'd swap out the wheels to riders to take the bike out. Keep the wood sidewalls nice and not chance damaging the rims on Detroit potholes/craters. Plus, don't you need leather/fiber brake pads for wood rims?
