Subject: [CR]FS: cogs for SunTour Winner, New Winner freewheels

As a result of enrolling in the FMGTY (From my garage to yours) program, I helped clear space in Bob Freitas' garage floor and I have now come into possession of a quantity of cogs for Winner and New Winner 5, regular and ultra 6, and 7 cog FWs. I haven't finished inventorying them yet, but it looks like I have multiples of most cogs, from the 12 tooth U cogs through the 34 tooth A cogs, and I have quite a few spacers for these. Some cogs I have just a few of and others I have lots of. Depending on availability, I would like to ask between $4 and $9 for the cogs. I've got the spacers too, figure $1 a piece for them.

Let me know what cogs you might need, including if you'd like to change a 5 to a 6 cog freewheel, or a 6 to a 7, add a bailout cog by replacing a 26 with a 28 A or a 28 A with a 30, 32, or 34 tooth A cog, etc. What you'll need to know is the designation and tooth count of each cog, found on the back side of the cog, and the body you have to mount the cogs on. These cogs can go on Winner, New Winner, and Winner Pro bodies, and probably on the Compe and Pro-Compe bodies, if I have read the technical bulletin properly. If you run period specific SunTour stuff, and you want to extend the life of your freewheel, or if you just have an old beater bike that uses freewheels, this is one way to keep those going cheaply.

Most of the cogs are silver, but there are some duplicates that are black and a very few that are gold. I don't have a complete set of black or gold though so that will be very hit and miss. As I said, it's mostly silver. Depending on the cogs chosen, I probably have enough for several dozen freewheels. These are new cogs, some of them still with price stickers on them, others looking a little dusty from sitting in a box for many years.

Just so you know, I will be off tomorrow and part of wednesday, so if I don't get back to you immediately, don't worry, I will probably respond later in the week.
