Good day gentlemen,

I just picked up a Peugeot SF 10 mixte. Here is a link to the pictures - http://members.optusnet.com.au/p3200tmz/sf10/sf10.html

Does anybody know anything about this bike?

I am debating whether I want to strip it down and repaint it and apply new decals or just give it a good refurbish job. It came with 2 chain rings up front, but interestingly, it only has a braze-on the right side for a rear shifter. The down tube shifters were this combination of one shifter fixing to the braze-on with a clamp for the left shifter. I am only planning to use one chain ring on the front with a 5-spd freewheel. It has Mafac centerpull brakes which are still in good nick, but I need to find new brake levers. The fenders are in very nice shape, but I will fit it with a Brooks saddle. Also so far everything is English threaded, I think! At least an English BB cup will thread in with no problems.
