Hey Folks:
My take on this Jewish builders question is that bike builders in our world are perceived as being overwhelmingly Italian and other Western Europeans,so a Russian Jewish fancy bike builder is quite an unexpected novelty. We wonder;can we think of any others?
Well, now,a couple of years ago,a 16inch wheel tiny kid bike showed up at the Santa Cruz,CA flea market. It was strange in every shape and dimension. While some of us were goggling at it,some world-weary cosmopolitan wandered up and said right away that he recognised it as Greek.Completely blindsided me...So do we have any other reports of Way Off The Side manufacture?I personally have a set of pretty cool ZZR Polish cranks with small five screw chainwheel fastening(as in better than utility grade)
