Hi folks,
I know this is kinda early notice, but the 2004 Central Indiana Bicycle Association swap meet and ride is Sunday, 16th February 2004. We should plan a gathering of vintage lightweights enthusiasts in conjunction with this event.
The swap meet sometimes has on-topic older bits and bikes. It's usually well attended. In the past some of the regional dealers have been there buying and selling.
There's a ride beforehand - I've ridden the routes in the past and found I was late arriving for the swap, so I thought maybe a shorter local loop for the older iron (and knees) might be fun.
1) Early meeting for donuts, coffee, rust removal. 2) Brief vintage ride - frequent exchange of bicycles is highly recommended. 3) Display of bikes, either outside in the parking lot, or near the entrance. 4) CIBA Swap meet.
Maybe they'd even make space for a display inside the building.
