I think you're right Jerry. The gold gruppo is probably too much. I'm not sure a gold gruppo looks right on any bike, but that's just me. Maybe it conjures up visions of swarthy guys in open collars with gold chains around their necks in the disco era, or cars like Lexus and Cadillac with the coveted "gold package" for accent on grills, fender trim rings, and wheels etc. To my eye it just doesn't look right, too ostentatious I guess.
