In the process of restoring some raleighs, i have been thinking about what is needed to keep the bike running for 20 years (of my style of riding), because several parts are still being made, but they won't be made 20 years from now. My type of riding is commuting about 80 miles per week currently. So that's about 4000 mi a year, or 80,000 mi total. What are the proper replacement intervals for these items ?
