Yes, the all aluminum version has the spline interface as a cup configuration that screws over the end of the hub. Much stronger with more threaded area than the small splined ring that threaded onto the steel and aluminum version of the Bivalent hub.
One thing to watch for is to keep the splines greased because they continually work against each other from misalignment between the hub and freewheel.
