Richard - the NR front will definitely support a triple. You need to have the shortest possible bottom bracket axle, and the outer plate of the derailleur cage should be in plane with the big chainring, and no more than 2-3 mm above it. Careful setup of cable and chain length will allow you to use almost any gear ratio within reason.

If memory serves - and it doesn't neither well nor often - a Lister mentioned using a NR front der. with a triple crank and without problems. And, there were several posts on drilling an NR crank for triple yet, no mention of compatible front der. Will the NR front accomodate a triple? Thanks. Richard Cielec Chicago, Illinois
