Since I'm in the tire business, I pump a lot of tires and some Tufo's are rated to 230 psi. The SKS Airbase pump goes up to 224 psi. I usually ride my tires at 160 psi (and they're good for a month) and it goes up to this pressure easily. _______________________________________________ The airbase has been one of my favorites, but after having purchased doizens for the shop to use and sell, we have discovered it does not hold up to in-shop or field use at rallies and supported events.

SKS was very accomodating with warranty- they replaced each and every head with new ones and a few spares for customer come-backs. The base develops cracks in shop/field use and they wiol replace the puimps for us . We are waiting til they come up with a good pro model, though.

CR topicality-we use these on classic tubulars and SKS has made classic
fenders for ages.
