The few non-cycling savvy folk in the audience just sat there and looked bewildered as 90% of the crowd hooted their approval. Hey it isn't perfect but in my opinion it was the best yet, Hollywood style!

Dale Brown Greensboro, North Carolina I can also add my three pennies. I was flying across the USA when that movie came out and saw it at 12k metres in the sky. I was on the edge of my seat and found it veryrealistic from having worn a cat 2 armband since the days when they were available on dumb luck and the license was 8 bucks.

Incidentally, the wheel change scene looked great on camera, but there was a small tragedy that resulted in a serious crash during an earlier take. Rae Dawn was in a bad spot and .... well, you can be spared. We learned this while attending the USCF mechanic/official/bikewashing school at the otc in Colorado three years ago.

The guys there were either consulted, were involved in the film, or had an inside line.

There were genuine top pros and amateurs in the flick, though
