Hmmm...
Looking back at other items he has sold in the past may help uncover whether in fact it is identity theft and a scam auction. In this case, he hasn't sold anything since July. This is a common ID to steal. One that hasn't been active in awhile. Also I note the items he has sold in the past have been "tape deck" and "phono" which seem to be record and tape related. Not many hints as to cycling related sells or purchases. Tom may have a point on this one.
Walt Skrzypek Falls Creek where there is snow, just not enough to XC ski yet!

it. Starting bid with no takers yet is $1500. It seems like a nice buy and
I love the look of the bike. However myself and several other list members
have noted that the bike is claimed to be a 58cm size. Looking at it, it
seems much smaller, more my size. Upon questioning the seller, he sent some
measurements entirely consistent with a bike of the claimed size. His
choice of English words were strangely like those Nigerian scam letters we
all seem to be getting. I go back and look again, he has decent feedback,
but the bike just does not look that big to me or anyone else who has seen
it.
