The Supreme Stainless or B-10 models had stainless cage/platforms and are the ones to have, in my opinion. I'm no fan of alloy cages- with plastic cleats, the cages wear rapidly, depositing alloy on the cleat resulting in infuriating noise. The anodizing on Extra Leggiere Record pedals postpones this somewhat, but it always happens. I've worn out a set of alloy cages on my T.A. pedals in a year of riding; the semi-circular notches are long gone, and the cleat and/or sole contacts the barrel and strut of the pedal. I'll not buy another set unless I can get steel cages.
