In the beginning, Campagnolo only had one set of hubs.

When they came out with a second set that had large flanges, the first hubs were referred to as "Normal Flange" and the second were referred to as "Large Flange." Even later the two sets of hubs were referred to as Small Flange and Large Flange.

And yes, the rear hub with the two different sized flanges was referred to in the catalog as a "HiLo" with this description, "Record road, small flange front, large-small flange rear" along with the footnote, "Available with English threading and five speed spacing only."
