Where shall I start? CLB made magnificant stuff, total crap, and everything in between. The CLB "Racers" are similar to Mafac Racers, except I've never seen a set of CLB Racers that wasn't broken. The CLB-2 "Self Energizing" CPs on the other hand, are some of the best and most ingenious brakes ever made, and CLB Compact SPs are highly sought after. Some of these came with aluminum brakes cables for ultimate weight savings, but not being that brave, I use steel cables on my CLB-2s.
