Well, JL, IMHO, Cinelli is about as diametrically opposed to a "soft ride" as I could think of. Maybe my old 83 Cannondale is close. Yes, handles via thoughts, just like a good bike should. But stiff to make yer kidneys fall out. Stiff as in NOT absorbent. This after some 300 bikes I've owned and ridden in the last 29 years of goofing off and being a quasi bike bum. Just MHO. And you sure can't beat those Italians in the graphic arts dept.
