Schwinn Varsity

Schwinn Continental

Before they were the 1960 model-year bicycles , with derailleurs ,

They were made for , and sold with , Sturmey Archer AW 3-Speed rear hubs .

And , long years before the Schwinn Super Sport , and Sports Tourer , were the fillet-brazed , by hand , bicycles from Schwinn . . .

The 1950's 3-Speed Schwinn Tourist Continental , was fillet brazed by hand , from seamless chrome moly tubing !

And the 1950's 3-Speed Schwinn Varsity , was machine-made , by the "electro-forged" process .
