Somec frames are made in Italy. My recollections of them are of a very nicely finished frame, and I have seen photos of them under pro teams.

Their e-mail address is somec@leonidaniele.it . Their website is http://www.somec.com . You should be able to contact them with the serial # and find out year, model, tubing, etc....

Pricing would be comparable to whatever the market is bearing in your area for a quality used italian racing bike with appropriate value adjustments for condition of the bike.
