I've got the clincher version of the Omega on a couple of bikes, I think maybe there was a sewup version also, but maybe it had a different name. These came out in the mid 80's I think. Maybe just barely On Topic. I'd compare these to the hard anodized Mavic Open 4CD, not quite bulletfroof, but close. Not a superlightweight rim, but reasonably light considering its strength. There was also a non-anodized silver colored version called the Ypsilion.
