I've got the clincher version of the Omega on a couple of bikes, I think maybe there was a sewup version also, but maybe it had a different name. These came out in the mid 80's I think. Maybe just barely On Topic. I'd compare these to the hard anodized Mavic Open 4CD, not quite bulletfroof, but close. Not a superlightweight rim, but reasonably light considering its strength. There was also a non-anodized silver colored version called the Ypsilion.

> Does anyone recall what year the Campy Omega Strada Hardox rims (tubular)
were introduced? Anyone recall their weight, and recommended usage (light
time trials only, general racing, training or touring?). Anyone with actual
experience? Thanks.
