I'm doing some thinning, preparing for a possible move this winter:

For Sale:

Very nice set of matched, early 1970s French wheels: Normandy Luxe Competition hf hubs with the gold foil stickers in excellent condition on both hubs. 3x galvanized spokes in good condition, laced to Mavic Campionate du Monde sew-up rims. Stickers on the rear rim are good, no stickers at all on the front rim. 120mm rear spacing. These wheels include correct, matching Atom quick-release mechs in very clean condition. I rebuilt the bearings on these hubs and they spin as smoothly as Normandy hubs are capable of..the wheels themselves are lightly soiled and could use a good cleaning, but all cleaned up they'll be quite pretty. $125 *shipped!*

Interesting rear wheel: Normandy Luxe Competition hf hub, gold foil sticker is there, but mildly worn, with very clean, correct, matching Atom quick-release mech and a somewhat-used-but-still-useable Regina Oro freewheel, 13-21, 4x laced with stainless spokes to a Fiamme blue-or-green label sew-up with the old oval label in poor condition. The rim has a distinct hop in it, which may or may not be fixable. $65 *shipped!*

And, finally: matched pair of interesting 1970s clincher wheels: Campagnolo hf Record hubs, 36 hole, NO QR MECHS!, laced 4x with straight-guage galvanized spokes to a pair of Weinmann 27x1 1/4" alloy rims. I don't know which model of rim the Weinmanns are, but they're quite plain, smooth faces, no ferrules, straight sides with no lip, so you'll need wire-bead tires for them. The rear hub has been mildly cannibalized, a couple of ball-bearings are missing (easy enough to replace), and the thin washer between the lock-nut and the cone on the non-drive side is missing. Otherwise, these wheels are fine and utterly bullet-proof, good for another 40 years with a little work. Both hub bearings need rebuilding, but should be fine after that. $95 *shipped!*

I will give special consideration to anyone who wants to buy *all* these wheels together. $250 for all *shipped!*

Thanks.
