The allen bolt may be hidden between the seatstays in the photo, if it is a photo. The seatpost was part of the Dura-Ace AX gruppo, although it may also have been in the lesser 600 AX gruppo. There were actually TWO DIFFERENT aero section AX posts, as I discovered when purchasing one for an aero frameset I received from our esteemed Listmeister. This is not counting the AX post with an aero upper section but a round crosssection at the bottom for round seat tubes.
Campy made an aero post also, which I believe was designed to fit a Columbus aero tubeset. I don't think the Campy post would fit a Japanese aero tubeset. Perhaps one of the two AX posts fit the Columbus tubeset, or maybe there were two different Japanese aero tubests.
