I just acquired a TREK 510, circa 1984 (will be on-topic when dale returns from christmas vacation), and i was noticing that unlike my crashed 1985 TREK, this one seems to be completely brazed with REAL LUGS. When did Trek start using investment-cast head tubes, and internally lugged seatclusters ??
I'd like to hear from others who enjoy Campy Triomph componentry ... A 36H chainring can be pretty important on many San Diego hills ...
I also applied chuck schmidt's aluminum test by rubbing "Nevr-Dull" on my dirty Campy Hoods, and guess what ??!?!? They aren't anodized !!!
