Hi, 1 to 15: In Europe, single tubes were Michelin´s patent, wire-ons were Welch´s, and clinchers then were thought of by Bartlett to dodge both patents. All were more or less contemporary, early eighteen-nineties, and if someone´s stuck for a real clincher tire for a cycle, ask European collectors, even some good bike shops. Simple. At least over here.
