Re: the white gloves...This is just a preview of the way the Cirque du Cyclisme handlers will treat the rare and exotic bicycles this coming May! Of course in our case, it may be rubber surgical gloves because of the funky patina on some of the bikes.. Ha!
Just kidding of course... BUT I can report that we now have officially 61 paid signups for the Saturday night <A HREF="http://www.classicrendezvous.com./Events/Cirque/Cirque_04/banquet.htm">Cirque banquet</A> and I have not heard a report in a few days from my club's registration committee.
I am forced to remind everyone that we are strictly limited to hosting 100 people so do not delay to join us if you want to be a part of this evening. Your paid enrollment is necessary so print the <A HREF="http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Entry_form.htm">Entry form</A> and send it in with payment ASAP. Sorry, no reservations can be made w/o payment.
I am developing (or WILL develop is more accurate!) a data base with all pre-registered folk and their activities signed up for (for instance; Banquet, seminars, big ride on Sunday, swap meet spaces, etc..) I have not acknowledged receipt of the entries for any specific persons yet but will eventually confirm receipt so you KNOW that your reservations are OK...
I think this coming Cirque may be the crescendo, the highest level yet and I urge you to come for whatever part you can. You will be kicking yourself for YEARS to come if you miss out!
Oh! Soooo exciting!!! I can't wait.
