Not the myth...the bike!
What info can someone share with me about the brand? I just picked up an inexpensive looking yet intriguing looking Hercules frameset today. It has nice lugs, nice Hercules headbadge. Huret Alivit components. Very cool pattern on cottered crankset. ? brakeset, inexpensive and inexpensive levers, very interesting lugged looking stem with good chrome, handlebars appear to be chromed as well. The tire size is 26 x 1 3/8 inch. frame size 52 c-t. Big springy taiwan made saddle. The badge says nottingham, england. Was this actually made there? I can honestly say the frame quality isn't the highest...stamped rear stays and fork with the faux chrome crown. But the lugs look clean. So tell me about this find....
