Many Italian bikes came with Magistroni headsets, although these typically had the frame/bicycle manufacturer's name on them rather than Magistroni. These were generally almost (but not quite) as smooth as Campagnolo but tremendously robust. Plus they looked wonderful with chrome plating that frequently has endured without rust even after 35 years. Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia
