Jerry,

I won one of the "Vintage Campy Selection Surprise" auctions on 10/08/03. My credit card was charged by PayPal for on my 10/17/03 billing. I paid my bill so its gone, gone.

I have not received the items and I get NO reply to my emails.

I just bought two items from a German seller called Cyclo-Network, but now that I read the fine pint, I see this is associated with Carsten Rehbein. I believe there was a thread about Carsten stiffing several members on a "grab-bag" auction. Did Carsten ever make good on these auctions? Has anyone actually received goods as promised from Carsten in the last two months? Anyone know the procedure for withdrawing a bid after an auction has ended due to past misconduct by a seller? Wish I had read the fine print and discovered the connection before bidding. This could be messy now. Isn't there a procedure to purchase buyer protection through PayPal? Does this actually work?
