I took a look at the listing and while it is "New in the original packaging" It also has a high serial number. It is probably not from the original 300 that were made but rather from a later assembly. IMHO the price may be a bit steep and that it what is scaring people off. I remember when Shimano brought out their 25th Ann. Dura Ace group and had similar responses from IBD that didn't want to pay the high tariff.
