Bruce, the same Holdsworth Aids from 1936 also has ref's to Fiamme Sprint rims. They are described thus; " Tabucchi" Fiamme rim. New endrick section 16oz per rim. 31/6d. These were wired on's or clinchers. The next page has 9oz tubular rims at 47/6d. They are the most expensive. So from this I deduce the sprints came out in 1934 as you point out and the clinchers were new for 1936.
