OFF TOPIC!!!
Please indulge me in this off topic request for information. I have recently purchased on a whim a Modolo Twin 777 handlebar/stem combination. It is date coded 1993, hence off topic. I have already contacted a number of listmembers offlist but nobody has been able to give me any information.
This combination is made up of an adjustable length stem and adjustable width handlebars. It is quite a 'cool' item, in a technofreak way. Has anybody ever seen one of these before? Does anybody have any experience with them? Can anybody comment on them? Should I dare put them on a bike, or should I leave them in the neat presentation box?
