I don't have an exact date on Open 4CD's, but I suspect late 80's at the earliest. I remember buying a pair in 1990, so they could easily have been around in 1989.
The Modolo Master Pro was the top of the range, followed by the Professional and then perhaps the Equipe. The Speedys were in the lower Modolo range, but were not bad brakes (IMO).
