I'm not a happy camper given it's pushing 80 degrees here in Tucson. Told her I'd go if I could take the bike. No way I'm gonna sit for 9 days. Would like to take my '52 ASC equipped Viking Road-Path. Am I nuts? Anybody have America West horror stories? Ripped off bikes? Frames twisted into oblivion? Maybe I should just take my 80 Holdsworth 68" fixie and be happy. What do you think?

Craig "Perplexed in Nirvana" Montgomery Tucson Craig Hey, the weather's not killer here. Our 13th annual 'I've ridden every day this year' ride is Jan 1st at noon- the sunniest time o' the day.

Why hassle with almost $200 to hassle with a box or bag full o' cool bike and sweat the possibility of damage?

Bob's Bikes is right in Poolesville, and Guys like Wayne and Harvey are right across the Potomac. Although Bob might not have anything classic, nor even classy, there might be a road bike in the stash for riding therapy. Bob himself lives near our shop and between the muesum, barn, and employees we can come up with something period.

A little food, Az.souvenir style, and smile might go a long way. Too bad I'll be in California from Dec 25 to Jan 3 or I'd personally fit you. I'll be doing a bike borrow from a CR member whom I recently hooked up to Campy wedding gift for a killer deal.

Let me know when you are due in and the size you need. We have a variety of oldies both fixed and 10 speed.

Have a safe trip in any event
