SLX, not SL, has the rifling (the Italian for this is "gimick") in the bottom of the seat tube. SL, SLX and SP all had the rifling in the steerer tube. Actually, the spiral ridges must have worked--when was the last time you saw a bent rifle?

Anyone know what version of Columbus tubing Bianci used on its mid-range bikes in the '80s? I assumed it was Aelle or Tenax. On the Tenax subject, I always figured that it was some kind of Hi-Ten steel, not CroMo, just based on the name. Anyone know better?
