Matrix then Tenax was created as a lower cost production tube set specifically for use in high production at Schwinn's brave new, non-Auto Worker's Union plant in Miss. in the mid to late 1980s. Richard Schwinn, one of our speakers at the '04 Cirque, will be able to tell us about that, as he was for a brief period, the manager of that ill fated plant. It lost millions of dollars and was a significant part of Schwinn's down fall.
