Jerry- As far a s I know, the Tretubi label used by Columbus basically meant 3 main tubes, Columbus SL. The remaining stay and fork tubes I have seen have been variable. I have seen these remaining tubes be anything from Aelle, Zeta, SP or even Falk straight-gauge tubing. Someone with more experience may be able to confirm this. cheers, Dave Anderson Cut Bank MT

Didn't Columbus briefly make a stainless steel tubeset? What was the name of that? While I'm on the subject, my mid-80's Mercier Bordeaux-Paris is made with Columbus Tretubi, which I believe just means "three tubes" so this would be the equivalent of the 531 "3 Cadre Renforce" decal. But what tubes was "Tretubi"? SL? SP? Aelle?
