I also suspect the crank arms cost every bit as much to make as Record arms. Never saw a set retail, only OEM. The three arm GS alloy crank that followed is neat too. So what are the values of these three-arm cranksets? There were two that I remember, an alloy arm and the heavier Steel Arm model

The arms were very thin , especially at the pedal area. were there any issues with strength, like if it needed to be rethreaded for an insert?
