I have a Sugino AT crank an old Nishiki Cresta and it has been a very nice crank for many years-- right now it's being used as part of a microdrive double set-up. However, for your Holdsworth, I will throw out what I've recently done with a 1972 LeJeune: I have gone back to the Stronglight 93's stablemate, the mod. 99, polished nice and bright with drilled rings, too! Here is an excellent touring crank with a BCD of 86mm, making it very versatile for all sorts of applications. Again, I am running a microdrive double, 46-28, which shifts wonderfully with a 2003 Ultegra front der. (Nomex suit on!)

Ken Wehrenberg, Hermann, MO-- some of my bikes are 100% period perfect; others are regular riders where I want/need the functionality and safety of more modern componentry.
