On the subject of Aluminum rims. My 1894 Eagle fixed gear safety came with steel rims, but when I found a copy of the catalogue they had optional aluminum rims. There were also Aluminum frames at the turn of the century. Nothing is new!!! Take Care Clem Clem Skehan Willoughby Ohio
