......Anyway, the chap also gave me the remains of a Mercier, the frame in its second coat of paint and again scratched beyond recognition (he was a good amateur racer, both road and track), with a Shimano D/A ax chainset with the strange pedals, early D/A brakes and an Edco headset. Bearing in mind that the bike has seen heavy use, what do I do with it? Scrap it? Does anyone want it? ------------------------------------------ Me me me!! :)
