Good self serving logic expressed below, and if everyone does what is most convenient for themselves, it makes for a great overall system that has a strong element of truth and communal trust! If we disallow all athe anti- doping laws, the person who claims the victory ribbon will undoubtedly choose to pursue a path of convenience to the podium. Will you want to applaud the achievement? In any large group there are some "bad apples" in the mix, but it doesn't compel that one need change your method of participation to acquiesce to the influence they have. At ebay, they are far from in the majority it would appear, based on my own experience. Trying to maintain a level playing field to the end of the auction will do much more for the beneficial longevity of a source of cool bike stuff that we like, than pulling the rug out from people who want to participate in "good faith" by assuming a auction will end the way you state it in print. If we can't believe that part, what all can we believe in terms of the integrity of items, payment agreements, etc, etc. Sure, it is not perfect, but beware where you cast your net, it may engulf something that will tear it apart! (Book of Grandis) It can be surmised why there are rules that allow auctions to be ended early, and the price satisfaction of the seller is not one of them. Liberties may allow you to manipulate the rules to your advantage, but I would wish for a fundamentally clearer activity that would encourage the good welfare of all participants as much as possible. The auction is more likely to best serve all our needs that way over extended time, as opposed to becoming more and more corrupted. Man wants to keep evolving in a more brotherly conscious fashion, not in the way that is giving us most of our news headlines these days. Lofty thoughts...? Well, it is New Years tonight in Japan! Let's hope this next one will bring a better year for all.

Happy New Year to everyone!
