Final arrangements have been co-ordinated by Columbus resident Bob Hovey.
The after ride arrangements are as follows:
The Cannon Brewpub @ 1041 Broadway 706-653-BEER [Love the phone #]
Makes the best pizza in town & also has a nice selection of sandwiches, calzones, & other goodies. The Cannon also has 5 varieties of award winning home made beer on tap. As well as a home brewed root beer that is particularly good & may remind you of your youth; when root beer was more than just a syrupy sweet liquid in an aluminum can.
Easy to find...just cruise the west side of Broadway until you see a place with the Red Jacket [a large brass cannon] parked out front.
Bob also mentioned that the stretch of highway between LaGrange and Columbus is a heavily patrolled speed trap. So be careful.
For those folks who are planning to caravan from the Marriott; please drop me a note. We can make sure all are accounted for before heading out to Columbus.
