<< Chuck, I was re-reading the Campy timeline over breakfast and noticed it says Campagnolo started exporting in 1947. I had a post last week or week before mentioning an advert in a 1936 Holdsworth Cyclist Aids for Campagnolo hubs. It is known that these were made by FB but it does alter the timeline fact re-exports unless you are only considering true in-house Campagnolo products. >>

Mark: Good sleuthing...1936... Wow! Seems to me it doesn't matter exactly where it was made as long as it is bonafide Campagnolo. In fact, I imagine it would be difficult-to-impossible to absolutely determine where many Campagnolo components were sourced...

I may not be the first to say this but I know Chuck treats that Campagnolo Timeline as a "living document." I contributed (in a very minor way) early on, but I know we all are likely to discover new wrinkles in Campagnolo's history. Please make a copy of that Cyclists Aids page as a reference & e-mail it to Chuck. I think he will be happy to modify the Timeline.
