Earlier (1950s?) Fiamme rims have a ferrule around the valve stem and are
marked "Brevetti Longhi". 1970s rims have no valve ferrule and smaller lettering
without the "Brevetti" markings. Rectangle labeled rims hve smaller lettering
yet.
The early FB marked hubs were the older fashioned, wider flanged hubs that
were intended for 3 speed freewheels. The Campagnolo marked (FB made) hubs were
the ones with the narrower flange spacing (similar to the later Record alloy
hubs) and were specified by Tullio for compatibility with the new 4 speed
freewheels.
