Cool wheel, if this is what is purported to be.
I am curious though: if this wheel is from 1956, hows-come the quick-release lever isn't of the open-C variety? Isn't 1956 early enough for that?
I am, frankly, more than a little confused about just when, and for how long, Campagnolo made QR levers and shift-levers with the open-C and open-G stamp. I had an early 70s french bike, nice piece, that had open-C/open-G stamps on the QR levers, and those levers/hubs were absolutely original to the bike.
So, anyone know the story about this?
