In May of 1997 the F.I.V Edoardo Bianchi company became a part of the Swedish group Monark Stiga AB.
In particular, the Bianchi group has become the cardinal point within one of the most important global holdings in the bicycle sector, the Cycleurope AB group located in Varberg (Sweden), a branch of Monark Stiga that deals in bicycles.
Today the Cycleurope group counts a total of 1,750 employees and manufactures approximately 1,500,000 bicycles annually, for total sales of about LIT 750 billion.
The trademarks of the Bianchi group - Bianchi, Legnano, Puch and Chiorda - have joined those of Cycleurope - Monark, Crescent, DBS, Kildemoes, Everton, Smith, Mismo, Gitane - thus giving life to a unique grouping in the bicycle market in terms of wide offer and distribution capillarity at the global level.
