After three kitchen renovations (3 different houses), I have learned that I don't want to know what Susan spent. In turn, she's learned that there are rewards to her from not asking questions about my bike and parts purchases. The trick is just enough respect for the total picture to not abuse the family resources. Besides, we've been together since '1965. We joke that there are three rules for a successful marriage:
Dumb Luck, hard work, and low expectations.
Enough philosophizing and digression from the great bikes. But, in my defense, her engagement present from me was a (used) Columbus-tubed Atala...
