Well, that depends. I find certain lugless bikes to be absolutely phenomenal machines to look at. I find the current wave of cycles in the Pro peleton to die for. Can yoou imagine being a kid in the 60's lusting after Parnelli Jones' offy? - all racing aesthetic and tin-knocked? Racing aesthetic changes. It's a evolving language. That's what I study and that is what I seek. Good design has no time boundaries. It's out there, you just have to understand that it is a different language. But if you are so inclined to discount current cycles for their lack of chrome headlugs, then I must than you vehemently. You are one person that does not stand in my way of acquisition. It is all rather hypothetical in my case, so I can be an aesthete rather than an athlete.
While a black and tan sounds good, the single malt cupboard is a closer. It may go better with canard anyway.
